Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is processed when you use moneyintheworld.com ("the site"), what we store on your device, and how advertising works. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.
Information stored on your device
The site stores a few settings in your browser's local storage so it can remember your choices: theme and language preference, your watchlist, your simple portfolio and your price alerts. This data stays in your browser. We do not receive it and it is not linked to an account, because the site has no accounts.
Information processed when you visit
- Server and network data. Like any website, our hosting and delivery provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and requested pages in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Language detection. The site may use a third-party IP geolocation service to guess a suitable language for your visit. You can change the language at any time.
- Market data. Your browser requests prices directly from data providers such as Binance, Yahoo Finance and other public market-data services. These providers can see the request as with any web request.
- Bug reports. If you submit a report, the title and description you write are stored and shown publicly. Please do not include personal information. To limit spam, we keep a one-way hashed version of your IP address for a short period; the original address is not stored with the report.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
- Where required by law (for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), ads are shown subject to your consent choices through a consent message.
Third-party links and services
The site loads fonts and some images from third-party servers and links to external websites. Those services have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Turkey's KVKK), you may have the right to ask what data is held about you, request correction or deletion, or object to processing. Because we hold very little personal data, the most useful controls are in your own browser: you can clear the site's local storage and cookies at any time. The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
